Dear Valued Patients and Families,

We are writing you to share some very exciting news concerning our dental practice. For more than 30 years, we have served the community of Cliffside Park with great joy. With the start of my retirement, I have decided to transition the care of my patients to Cliffside Family Dentistry, Dr. George Dawoud, effective September 10th, 2020. It is important for me to convey how much I have truly enjoyed my time working with each one of you and how much I will cherish the years I have spent at this practice. My wife and I are very much looking forward to the time off, as we plan to spend the time off following the transition cherishing more moments with our children and grandchildren. At this time, we find comfort in Dr. Dawoud as we enter this next stage of our lives.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Dr. George Dawoud, as he and I have maintained a long standing relationship, and I found him to be the most suitable and qualified doctor for the transition. My current staff will also be continuing alongside Dr. Dawoud and working with him to maintain a similar familial environment, which we have cultivated for many years. I find great joy in the time I spend with Dr. Dawoud, as I see much of my younger self in him. He maintains a fine balance between being professional as well as sociable, creating a comforting environment and exhibiting excellent chairside manner. He is exceptionally skilled and cares about the comfort of each patient as an individual. Over the upcoming weeks, I will be working alongside Dr. Dawoud in order to make this transition as smooth as possible. I look forward to introducing each of you and your specific cases to this wonderful, new owner. I encourage you to come and stop by at any time to say hello and meet him, as we warmly welcome him to the office. Dr. Dawoud will be maintaining the same address at 608 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, New Jersey, 07010.

Dr. Dawoud comes from a long line of Dentists and Doctors whom have also served in surrounding communities. Dr. George Dawoud graduated from the Howard University College of Dentistry with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He completed his post-doctoral training in Advanced General Dentistry at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington D.C.. Wanting to further his knowledge in advanced dentistry, Dr. Dawoud completed an additional post-doctoral training year in the area of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Jacobi and Mount Sinai Hospitals in New York City. Among other foundational clinical skills, his extensive training has provided expertise in advanced surgical techniques including implant placement for full mouth reconstructions, wisdom teeth extractions, management of medically complex patients, as well as a host of other valuable knowledge that he brings to the field of Dentistry. Currently he is a certified Invisalign Provider and member of the Bergen County and New Jersey Dental Associations. He is currently seeking to further his training in advanced cosmetic procedures.

Outside of dentistry Dr. Dawoud enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring restaurants in the NYC metro area where they spent most of their lives. The two are happily awaiting the birth of their first child, a baby boy coming this December. When he is not working, you can usually find Dr. Dawoud behind a camera lens, as photography has become his newly acquired hobby, allowing him to capture and cherish every moment with an artistic lens. He sees dentistry as an art, allowing him to express his creative side as he views each person as an individual while attending to their specific needs.

He and I are eager and very much looking forward to this transition. Over the years, I have come to see many of you as not only patients, but also as friends. I am confident that you will find this loyalty and trust in Dr. Dawoud as well. I hope you will treat Dr. Dawoud as kindly as you did me.
